"prost"
case study - august 2023
this is a case study for a project i completed during a ux design certification course with google. it is my first legitimate project in the ux field, and i had a blast working on it.
the case study details the entire design process from start to finish, including the desired goal, user personas, usability study findings, wireframes, prototype samples, mockups, and even brand guidelines i created for the product.
"gruene lake village"
squarespace website - july 2023
this is a website i created after the owner of a boutique-centric shopping strip in gruene, texas reached out to me about the need to update their site and give it a facelift.
gruene is known for being a rustic, old texas town with a lot of history, but there's also a subset demographic of trendy entrepreneurs doing business in the area. so, i wanted to try and represent both of those aesthetics within the design.
i used mainly warm, earth tones for the color palette and opted for a vintage-looking serif typeface, but took a more modern and minimalist approach to how it was used throughout the website, focusing more on lowercase headers and taking advantage of liminal space.
i designed a simple text-based logo for them featuring the typeface used for the new brand identity. like the rest of the site, it's simple and modern, featuring a homely and rugged aesthetic.

"medieval harvest"
squarespace website - november 2022
this is a website i created for my medieval-themed wedding before being introduced to ux design tools. i used squarespace to put the site together and any graphic assets were made using adobe illustrator which were then uploaded to the site.
my wife and i wanted the site to speak to the proposed theme of the wedding and get guests excited. the site features our wedding colors, medieval typefaces, appropriate imagery, as well as the tone and language you'd expect from a cheeky medieval wedding.
